Santana” was the name given to the proprietary yarn developed by Marie Gray in 1965. It is made from a 80% Wool / 20% rayon blend with a special twist, and is well love for its ability to retain its shape and resist wrinkling.
Note: There are two small spots on this garment. One is near the left shoulder and the other is on the lower right pocket. The last two pictures show these. I do have the sweater under lights, so it makes the spots more noticeable, but it also helps me see spots I would not have seen otherwise.
